Spring Quarter Events
Chem-E
Senior BBQ
Hey everyone, please come join us in the annual Senior Chem-E
BBQ. There are free food for all, and first dibs for all senior chem-e's. So come have some free bbq
and congradulate all the seniors on graduating and
ask them questions regarding how they got to where they are now. We'll be bbqing at the EBU2 courtyard on Thursday at 12:30pm.
Junkyard Derby Scavenger Hunts
Hey guys. Junkyard Derby is holding its exciting scavenger hunts next Sunday
May 18th from 12-4pm, followed by a Costco run. Please come
help out as a member of AIChE and AIChE's
derby team. By volunteering to look for junk, we not only get DECaF points so we get more funding to buy yummy food for
you guys, but we also get a head start at picking out the junks/bikes we're gonna use on our cars. So please meet at the Regents
Parking Lot, P705 at 12pm. Free pizza will be
provided. So, please come support, thanks.
AIChE 2008-2009 Board Application
Hey everyone, the official board application for next year is now available
below. The applications are due on May 9th, 2008 by 9pm. Please either drop
your application off in the AIChE mailbox in EBUII
office or email to aiche@ucsd.edu. The interview process is tentatively
scheduled for May 12th, 2008, from 4pm-when we're finished with everyone. If
for any reason, you cannot make that date, please specify this on your
application or send an email to the email address above. Thank!

Engineering Exploration
Hello everyone! It's time for another huge outreach event held by TESC called
Engineering Exploration. Similar to Enspire which
took place during E-Week last quarter, TESC is bringing a few hundred kids to
UCSD to give them tours of engineering labs, talks with professors and
students, and team building projects. The only difference is that this time,
the kids will be high school students. The event will take place on April 26th
from 8am-3pm. Please email aiche@ucsd.edu if you are interested in
participating.

Biodiesel Meetings
Come to the Biodiesel Meeting and gain some first hand experience on how to make reusable fuel!!! There
will be weekly meetings taking place on every Thursday, 7pm. Location TBA.
